[a·ruh·gon] – provinces of Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel

Probably Spain’s most underrated region, Aragón offers riches wherever you travel, from the crusader-like castles and Romanesque churches of the north to the outstanding Mudéjar architecture of Teruel in the south. The regional capital, Zaragoza, is a major Spanish city of ebullient nightlife and absorbing culture (not least the work of local artistic genius Francisco de Goya), while dozens of picturesque medieval villages dot the serrated landscape, from pink-hued Albarracín to stone-clothed Sos del Rey Católico.

But above all, what sets Aragón apart is the majesty of the central Pyrenees along its northern fringe. This is the highest and, for many, most beautiful section of the mighty mountain range – a rare delight for the eyes and a massive natural adventure playground with not only Spain’s finest hiking and climbing but also much of its best skiing, canyoning, rafting and paragliding.

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Spain’s Aragon region at our exclusive Supper Club dinner! Immerse yourself in the flavours of this culturally vibrant area as our chef presents a meticulously curated menu featuring traditional Aragonese dishes crafted with the finest ingredients and paired with a selection of wines from the region.

Indulge your senses with a tantalising array of ten tapas served to share, from traditional migas del pastor to a sensational saffron custard, every dish promises to transport you to the sun-drenched landscapes of this enchanting region.

On the night, each guest will also be given the chance to enter our competition to win a trip for two to Zaragosa including return flights from London and accommodation!

The Pyrenean area is a major draw, ideal for skiing in winter with top resorts like Candanchú and Formigal. It’s also perfect for spring and autumn adventure sports. Huesca province boasts other outstanding natural attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.

The province offers a diverse landscape with attractions like the Dehesa del Moncayo Nature Reserve and Las Bardenas World Biosphere Reserve. Zaragoza features rich cultural heritage, including Romanesque and Mudejar architecture, highlighted by landmarks like the Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar. Local wines and produce, like borage from the fertile Ebro plain, are highlights of Zaragoza’s gastronomy.

The province is renowned for its Mudejar architecture, notably in Teruel, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Other must-visit destinations include Albarracín with its Arab fortress, Mora de Rubielos with its well-preserved castle, and Alcalá de la Selva, popular among hikers for its scenic landscapes. Local pork products, especially Teruel’s cured ham, are highly recommended.
